I believe the Bible is the word of the Living God. Inspired by God, written by men, it is without error and applicable to all facets of life. I believe that except where it is figurative, e.g. John 10:9 Christ says He "is the door", it is to be taken literally to mean what it says. God is not the author of confusion. I do not believe that because times, or cultures, change that some of what the Bible specifically warns against is now acceptable behavior. I believe the Bible tells the story of the origin of the physical world, including animals, plants, nations and languages.I believe the Bible is the story of mankind and God's loving interest in His creation. It is also the story of His clear plan to redeem His fallen creation and to do that through His Son Jesus Christ.I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and that He, the Holy Spirit, and the Father are One. I believe that He lived on earth as a man yet was fully God. I believe He was crucified for my sins and that He died and was buried. Yet 3 days later, just as He said He would, He rose from death. His life, death and resurrection give me assurance that He does have power over sin and death and through my faith in Him as my Savior I will enjoy eternal life in His presence.
